Video Games

This page showcases some works that I have created within the Video Games and Interactive Media realm. All of these projects involve the use of some form programming software. C# is the most used coding language in these projects. All these projects are free to download as .zip files, simply click the image below the project description to download!

Prison Break: Icarus by José Pescador (December 2021)

This prototype is an adaptation of an earlier project I created based on the Greek myth of Daedalus and Icarus. This game was mostly created for the purpose of showcasing game and level design for a possible full game. Additionally, I implemented music and SFX into the game with the use of C# scripting in Visual Studio.

Off-Brand Mario Kart by José Pescador (December 2021)

This project, while perhaps seen as a gag joke at first, was created as an exercise in coding for a Music in Unity course I took at Berklee. The objective of this project was to implement interactive SFX and music into a racing game, using C# scripts. For this particular project, I made use of the video game scoring technique of horizontal resequencing.

Prison Break: Icarus - an Interactive Twine Story by José Pescador (October 2021)

Prison Break: Icarus is an interactive story made using Twine. This interactive story is my own re-interpretation of the Greek myth of Daedalus and Icarus. Unlike the original story, however, this version has more than just one possible conclusion. Download the file attached to see which story ending you achieve!
