I am a vocalist, pianist, composer, and a creator. I am Jose Pescador. For as long as I can remember, I have been enchanted by music and its emotional effect over an audience. More specifically, I felt a deeper connection to music from film, video games, and musical theatre. With age, I grew especially fond of musicians like Joe Hisaishi, Junichi Masuda, and Kander & Ebb, known for their work on the Studio Ghibli films, the Pokémon games, and Cabaret respectively. Because of these composers, and many more, I have adopted a hybrid sound in my compositions, combining both timeless orchestral instruments in harmony with modern synthetic elements. 

I am also influenced by the many accomplished professors I studied from at Berklee College of Music, where I majored in Film Scoring and minored in both Video Game Scoring and Musical Theatre Writing. Currently, I reside in Los Angeles, CA, and have been working as a freelance composer and sound designer for all types of media, including film, video games, and even virtual reality.
